Helping Hands for Jorge, Inc. is a private, non-sectarian independent non-profit corporation dedicated to providing the highest quality of life for Jorge Grajales an 11 year old boy from Panama who has no hands and no feet. Doctors in Panama amputated them when he was 14 months old in order to save his life after an infection cut off circulation to his limbs and gangrene set in.
Helping Hands for Jorge, Inc. that was founded in May 2005 raises funds to support Jorge’s ongoing medical needs and also raises significant funds to support other children with similiar medical/physical needs.
Helping Hands for Jorge, Inc. is self-sustaining through the efforts of a Board of Directors and a core of additional dedicated volunteers.
These funds are raised though private individual donations, tribute and memorial funds, special event fund raising, public and private grants and planned giving.
Current officers and board members of the organization are:
Russell Triolo – President
